Keep On Track (DES310) VISUAL DEVELOPMENT

My portfolio of work on Keep On Track, a collaborative project between our DES310 group and Modern Wolf. I was in charge of concept art for the train and characters, as well as key art and UI design.

I wrote the following description to capture the energy of the game; "In west Australia, some generations after the apocalypse wiped out modern civilisation, a community of survivors is fighting to rebuild. You command a makeshift train along a makeshift track from Perth to Canberra, where efforts are being made to restore the capital and provide a home for survivors on the East Coast. Resources are scant, in terms of communication technology, you have little more than telegraphs and shouting really loud, and to top it off, lawless bandits, gangs and cultists roam the wastelands, scavenging the wreckage and disrupting any efforts to rebuild. Between that, the merciless weather, and the wildlife that seems a lot bigger than you were led to believe, making it to Canberra in one piece is a mission for only the bravest (or most foolish) of conductors."
